Christmas

I am usually a last minute shopper, I have been known to frantically run around like a mad person on Christmas Eve shopping, also I usually like to leave my wrapping till Christmas Eve . Not this year, while in bed ill with flu, I decided to shop on line, so there I was , in bed armed with the lap top and my purse. Several well known sites later...I was just about sorted. All I had to do was wait for everything being delivered. I still enjoy the hustle and bustle , today I was out getting bits and pieces...posting cards. Going backwards and forwards to the same shops , looking for that 1 gift for that 1 person. I think I'm sorted.. well I havnt done the food shopping yet.....

flu...or man flu

it started last weekend, i didn't feel v well on the saturday, sunday i felt all aches and pains and very tired, but i made lunch, lasagne sheets and pottered on. monday morning i felt like i had been hit with a hammer :( i was aching all over, tired , headache and generally unwell. so i thought bed rest, and that is where i stayed most of the week.
my dad turned up on wednesday, which was good, i could let him and hubby take over.
i just lay in bed, gave orders , did some online shopping , tweeted and in between slept.
by  saturday i was going stir crazy as not really left the house. so on sunday i went for a walk with the family.
i feel a lot better, not 100% but getting there.
think hubby realised how much i actually do in a week, as no real house work got done, washing basket full and over flowing, there was ironing waiting for me ...
but never mind...sometimes its hard to be a woman lol

baking day

I decided to start my baking day in memory of my mam. It would have been her 64th birthday on Oct.8th She loved to bake, me and my 2 sisters loved to help, or was that lick out the bowl and spoon :

well i will be the one confused because I'm easily confused.Since the move , Ian has started work, i bought the kids a onesie each ...

Ive started my mini gym in the garage, had a night out , hence the LBD pic and been to a bonfire display 

a friend of mine uses blogger and her blog space looks fab ..thats why ive moved .
